Watson Standard Manufacturing Division Appointments

Pittsburgh, PA, 9/20/2011 – Watson Standard is pleased to announce the appointment of Wesley E. Horton and Richard S. Newman, effective immediately. Both individuals will report to the Director of Manufacturing and serve to enhance the Company’s manufacturing and engineering operations.

Wesley is taking the role of Assistant Director of Manufacturing. His previous experience includes professional managerial roles with other ISO 9001 certified companies. Prior to joining Watson Standard Company, Wesley served as Vice President of Manufacturing for a powder metal manufacturer.

Richard, assuming the position of Process and Maintenance Engineer, will be responsible for company-wide engineering processes and maintenance for all Watson Standard locations. His background includes extensive engineering, batch operation, process control and plant maintenance experience in the chemical industry.

These additions to the Manufacturing Department are consistent with an ongoing commitment to uncompromised product quality and customer service. Watson Standard’s Executive Vice President, Jim Lore, commented, “We are very pleased to have Wes and Rick as part of our manufacturing/operations team. Both individuals bring a breadth of experience and expertise that compliment our current organization. Their addition to our staff will allow us to further enhance our commitment to our customers, vendors, employees, shareholders and communities in which we operate.”
